Pump case requirements:

The tightness of the pump casing should be good, the tightness should be strong, the strength and rigidity should be sufficient, the flow channel casting of the pump body and the pump cover should be smooth, and the quality should be light. The pump casing of a centrifugal pump is very important for a centrifugal pump. The main materials are stainless steel, cast iron, fluoroplastic alloy and other materials. The pump casing is generally made of a snail shape, and the impeller is deviated from the center position to form a snail-shaped water outlet channel. The water does not repeatedly swirl in the pump casing, which can reduce the flow loss and reduce the radial force.

The centrifugal pump impeller transfers kinetic energy to the fluid, increasing the pressure head value of the fluid. The design of the pump casing must match the impeller, so as to more effectively guide the fluid flow into and out of the impeller. When these components are properly designed, the fluid will flow smoothly, with minimal backflow and minimal losses caused by vortex flow and friction. These losses can reduce the impact on the pump output head.
