Today, we will introduce a new type of mud mixing system - HMM4016, which is specially customized for cementing for our drilling customer. It can disperse the cementing materials evenly and quickly into the wellbore, ensure the smooth progress of the cementing site.

This mixing system mainly consists of an 40m³ mud tank, a horizontal centrifugal pump and a jet mixing hopper. The processing capacity can reach 160m³/h. The pump casing, impeller and flow parts are made of ductile iron, making it with strong wear and corrosion resistance, which can transport sandy mud. The tank surface is equipped with two sets of 15KW mud agitators to prevent mud sedimentation.
The entire system adopts explosion-proof circuit design, with an explosion-proof grade of BT4 and a protection grade of IP55, which meets the requirements of offshore drilling.
The tank body adopts a corrugated structure, with a compartment in the middle. Each of the two compartments has a sand cleaning door to facilitate the cleaning of the bottom sediment. The base uses 3 national standard 20# I-beams as crossbeams, and the longitudinal beams are a combination of 20# I-beams and 12# channel steel. Hanging shafts are set at both ends to make a ship-shaped skid-mounted structure that can meet the needs of short-distance dragging on site. The top of the tank is paved with anti-slip steel plates, and the two compartments on the tank surface are each equipped with a manhole to facilitate personnel to observe the liquid level and overhaul. A 1-meter-wide floating platform is installed on three sides of the tank body, with a 1-meter-high guardrail around it, and a step staircase is set to ensure the safety of personnel. The entire tank is equipped with 3 explosion-proof lighting lamps for night operations.
This mud mixing system is designed with 3-in-1 function, make it convenient to add materials, transport and mix mud.
