SB Centrifugal Sand Pump

SB Centrifugal Sand Pump is a new generation supporting horizontal pump designed and manufactured by HL Petroleum according to the requirements from oil and gas field drilling projects. This oilfield centrifugal pump, with mechanical seal and stuffing box packing, adopts axial suction structures and selects wear-resistant cast iron for flow-passing parts, is applicable to deliver corrosive drilling fluids (with suspended particulates) or other liquid media which has the similar work condition.

SB Centrifugal Sand Pump is the best optional pump for hydrocyclone desander, mud cleaner desilter and jet mixing hopper, as well as the perfect perfusion pumps of mud pumps. 

Sealing of SB series horizontal centrifugal pump is mechanical seal, Main seal is high wearing hard alloy mechanical seal that is with a long service life; auxiliary seal is graphite packing seal that can avoid leakage. The practice has demonstrated that SB series drilling centrifugal sand pump mechanical seal is reliable and convenient for maintenance.

Shaft seal of SB series sand pump is lubricated with grease, and bearings are lubricated with oil. In addition, bearings can be lubricated with grease (bearing caps at two ends of bearings are equipped with grease holes).

Both inlet flanges and outlet flanges of SB centrifugal pumps are with 2 series standard dimensions, in metric system and in English system for the application of different markets.

SB centrifugal mud pump is a series of pumps of 5 major types, they are SB8×6, SB6×5, SB5×4, SB4×3 and SB3×2, of which, SB8×6 matches motors (45kW, 55kW & 75kW) (forward pumps and reverse pumps of 6 specifications can be provided according to customers’ demands), SB6×5 is for motors (22kW, 30kW, 37kW and 45kW) (reverse pumps of 4 specifications); SB5×4 can be used with motors (15kW and 22kW) (reverse pumps of 2 specifications); SB4×3 is applicable for motors (15kW, 11kW and 7.5kW) (reverse pumps of 3 specifications); SB3×2 matches motors (11kW, 7.5kW & 5.5kW) (reverse pumps of three specifications). Mechanical seal of the former 2 types pumps are universal. The Outline and installation dimensions of reverse pumps are the same as those of forward pumps on the whole, except that volute discharge tube is at left side of forward pump but at right side of reverse pump (seeing from the suction end).
