Liquid Mud Plant

The main purpose of a drilling liquid mud plant is to maintain the best drilling mud performance possible. It is used to mix (mix, dilute, process, adjust) various drilling muds and supply them to drilling platforms. It can also be expanded to drilling waste treatment or drilling fluid mud treatment. Usually, a mud centrifuge is used to process the mud that is circulated back to the liquid mud plant during drilling. Supply ships are used to transport drilling mud and treated mud or send them to drilling platforms or land rig sites!

Equipment used for Liquid Mud Plant

Normally, a decanter centrifuge will be used for solids control of the drilling mud. Sometimes, clients will require a shale shaker for coarse solids removal. The mud agitators is mounted on the mud storage or mixing tanks for agitation of the mud to prevent the silting of the solids in the fluids. Sometimes, mud guns will be needed for agitation especially for the Conner of the mud tank. The mud mixing and chemical adding is done by Mud mixing hoppers and centrifugal pumps. The decanter centrifuge, shale shaker, mud agitator, mud gun, centrifugal pump and mud mixing hoppers for the liquid mud plant.
