Overview of linear shale shaker
Linear mud shale shaker is a first-stage equipment for solid-liquid separation of drilling fluid. It is suitable for drilling fluid solid control system of oil and gas drilling. Linear movement along a certain direction achieves the purpose of screening and discharging cuttings particles in drilling fluid.
The linear shale shaker vibrating screen gets its name because the screen box moves in a straight line when it is working. The vibrator of the linear mud shaker consists of two eccentrics of equal mass that rotate synchronously in opposite directions. Compared with the circular motion mud shaker, it has the following characteristics:
* Since the motion track of the screen box is straight line, the drill cuttings move regularly on the screen surface and the chip removal is smooth.
* Since the screen surface is placed horizontally, the overall height of the linear motion shale shaker is reduced
* Since the screen surface moves in straight line, the acceleration and force on the screen are relatively uniform and the direction remains constant. Therefore, ultra-fine screens can be used on this type shakers, which is very important for drilling solids control.
* Compared with the circular vibrating screen, the drilling fluid processing capacity of the linear shaker is 20%~30% greater under the same conditions.
